Singing – What You May Learn as a Guitarist!

If you want to learn to sing, I say go for it!

As guitarist, I’ve learned so much from the process of learning to sing. I’m very much still and beginner, but I can finally usually sing in tune and am now starting to work on better air support (I think that’s what it’s called).

It’s been great to sing and play and guitar, plus it’s a great way to improve you ear and musicality!

Practice Makes Progress – Practicing 5 minutes a day is a great way to improve momentum/grease the groove.

Usually I’ll end up playing longer anyways, since I set my goal for just 5 minutes, I feel success, and then just have fun practicing longer. (As opposed to a 1 hour practice goal, and “only” practicing for 30 minutes, for example)
