Learn to Read Music, Day 1

So today you learn to play whole and half notes.  Whole notes get 4 beats and half notes get 2 beats.

You also learn to the ‘C’ note and the ‘B’.  The C note is in the 2nd space from the top on the staff.  The B note is on the middle line.  You play the C note on the 1st fret of the B string.  And the B note you play on the B string, open.
