I am reading the booking Walking Meditation by Thich Nhat Hahn and Nguyen Anh-Huong. Thiht Nhat Hahn wrote Peace is Every Step, which I have not finished reading. Walking Meditation is a good book. The CD helps you learn specific meditation techniques. Unlike some other books, it provides audio that will help you to meditate. If you have an mp3 player you can listen to the meditation in the park or your bedroom. I just listened to the walking meditation part in the park. It was relaxing. I remember doing a walking meditation once at Furnace Mountain in Kentucky many years ago. I have good memories of my time there!
I hope to learn, practice playing music meditation! I think the principle would be the same as a walking meditation. There is plenty of meditative music, certainly.
